Restoring a Landrover

My 1971 series 2a LWB Landy

Another fun project

Sitting on a boat ramp with the wheels spinning , and going nowhere was just too embarrassing so I needed something designed for towing a heavy boat and trailer. This is it. It will need lots of TLC and work but when Im finished it will be a better and more valueable vehicle, as well as a great tow vehicle. First of all to start stripping and assessing the wear and tear of 35 years.

The body panels come off

These Landrovers are a piece of cake to work on as everything is bolted together, and is designed to be unbolted as required. A lot has to be removed to find damage e.g. rust, corrosion and body damage that previous owners have neglected, but almost everything can be replaced or repaired so its going to be fun. Keep in touch.
